Transcription & recording: Whenever you join online meetings on Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Google Meet, Fellow will automatically transcribe and record such meetings in over 35 languages. With its recording library, you can organize your previous meetings into channels.

Meeting notes: The meeting notes provide you with the key points, action items, and decisions from the meeting. Utilizing this feature, Fellow makes online meetings easily digestible in a few minutes.

Collaboration tools: Fellow has great collaboration features like collaborative agendas, but you can assign action items, give feedback to meeting participants, and easily share the meeting notes with others.

AI assistant: My favorite feature was Fellow’s AI assistant called Ask Copilot during the review of this AI note-taker. It is pretty efficient for getting meeting information and answers to meeting-related questions or asking it to prepare follow-up emails.

Mobile app: Fellow has a mobile version for iOS and Android devices, so you can use it for in-person meetings.

Integration options: Fellow integrates Slack, Google Calendar, Google Docs, Microsoft Outlook, ClickUp, and over 50 other apps.

Transcription & recording: This meeting management tool automatically records and transcribes meetings with high accuracy on Google Meet, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams. If you go to the settings, you can also add your preferences for which meeting you want MeetGeek to join.

Meeting notes: I tried more than 20 AI meeting assistants, and  I have a feeling that MeetGeek gave me one of the best AI meeting summaries. It is outstanding how it breaks down all your meetings into tasks, next steps, concerns, facts, and decisions. Also, it was a huge plus for me that you can edit the meeting notes and add or remove specific points from your virtual meetings.

Collaboration tools: When it comes to team collaboration, MeetGeek offers some great features. With this AI tool, you can create and share meeting snippets, add comments on meeting notes, and easily send the meeting notes to your team members. MeetGeek has a searchable library where you can safely store and easily revisit your recordings and meeting transcriptions. In addition, it has massive post-meeting analysis features covering speaker talk time, sentiment analysis, silence rate, and more.

Meeting templates: MeetGeek automatically identifies the type of meeting, for instance, a sales call or a team meeting, and prepares customized meeting notes for such voice conversations.

Mobile app: You can download MeetGeek’s mobile apps for iOS and Android devices. With the mobile app, you can record and get meeting notes from in-office meetings or events.

Integration options: MeetGeek supports over +7000 integrations, so you can use this AI note-taking app with your favorite tools, including the most popular video conferencing apps.

Content writing: The content writing is very simple in SurferSEO. It has a block-based drag-and-drop editor. In the right-hand panel, you’ll find suggested keywords, headings, and NLP terms to include. It also assigns a content score, so you always know how strong your blog post is from an SEO perspective.  I would talk a lot about this feature, but let the results speak for themself: using SurferSEO for content marketing, I scaled up my website from 0 monthly organic visitors to 30.000 in less than three years. So yeah, SurferSEO is absolutely one of the best AI marketing tools for search engine optimization.

Keyword & topic research: SurferSEO offers keyword and topic research tools to ensure you find the right keyword with the right search volume in your niche. It works very simply, and based on my experience, it provides good approximations for Google searches. One thing I did not like here was the speed. It takes a few minutes to get the search volume for each keyword. The topic research is a valuable tool to identify low-hanging fruit in your niche. It’s definitely a must-have feature for content marketing teams.

Content audit & topical map: I will try to be short with these & the next features. With the content audit, you can analyze your pages and see how they performed based on position, traffic, impressions, and CTR rate. On the other hand, the topical map offers a quick overview of your main keywords and how you covered them.

SERP analyzer: SERP stands for Search Engine Results Page, which is the webpage displayed by a search engine like Google Search. SurferSEO analyzes all your pages based on domain score and content score, so you can understand more easily your and your competitor’s position & content marketing efficiency.

AI writing tools: SurferSEO also offers an AI writing assistant, and based on the selected keyword, it will prepare the article for you. Personally, I do not use AI-generated text, so it’s hard to say anything about how good this feature is. Nevertheless, I tried it once, and the article itself looked solid for search engine optimization. Whether it ranks is another question, but it’s a useful alternative for those who want a quick draft.

AI content detector & humanizer: Lastly, SurferSEO has an AI content detector and humanizer tool. It can identify AI-written content and can make it more human. Again, I do not use AI-generated content at all, so I can not tell you how good this AI feature is. From what I saw, I can only say that it works fast & could effectively check if the content is AI-generated or not.

Automatic time tracking tool: Whenever you start your PC, Rize will automatically track your workflows and categorize them into different categories. Don’t be afraid; you can turn off automatic tracking anytime if you click on the power button in the bottom left corner. Also, you can add activities manually if you want and make manual changes.

Customizable categories: Rize organizes your activities into different categories and sessions. If you move your cursor to the specific activity, you will get a more detailed breakdown of your activity. When testing Rize, I only adjusted the activity’s category manually one or two times at maximum. So, Rize did an outstanding job of identifying the web pages and what activity I do exactly. Besides the activities, Rize also identifies sessions during work. Sessions are periods dedicated to focus time, meetings, and breaks.

AI notifications: Rize sends AI notifications on when to take a break based on my work activity. Additionally, it alerts you when you’ve reached a certain number of hours worked in a day, which can be valuable in preventing burnout.

Reporting: Rize prepares and shares with you a daily report of your time breakdown and productivity metrics via email. Furthermore, you will receive weekly and monthly reports as well about your efficiency and how you spend your time.

Tasks and projects: With Rize, you can add projects, tasks, and clients as well, so you can seamlessly record every moment spent on a specific project or client work. You can choose an icon, color, budget hours, and keywords so Rize can identify the activities that relate to this project.

Personal productivity insights & trends: Productivity trends give you a bird’s-eye view of your time management. This feature can also make a big difference in establishing the proper work habits to avoid burnout.

Project management tools: Motion is a lightweight project management software that has all the tools to organize projects. When setting up a project, you can specify the due date, add priority notes, and assign tasks to your team members. Additionally, you and your teammates can leave comments under each project and add new tasks if necessary. It offers several view options like Gantt chart, Kanban boards, and list views. Also, you can apply filters and easily select, move, edit, or manage projects.

Task management software: It allows you to smoothly add and assign new tasks to you or your teammates, while the tasks dashboard provides a clear overview of tasks in progress and those that have not been completed yet. When adding a task, you can select the assignee, priority, duration, start date, due date, and when to auto-schedule it.

Calendar app: With Motion, you can bring the Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, and Outlook Calendar together into a single view.

AI employees: The AI employees work like customized AI bots trained based on your business needs and data. You can create AI employees for project management, sales, marketing, and basically any workflow.

AI scheduling: Motion not only integrates your calendar events into one single place, but it also uses AI scheduling to ensure you can meet all the deadlines and focus on high-priority tasks. Once you add your tasks, Motion will schedule them into your calendar based on your priorities, deadlines, preferences, and more. If your task takes more time than you think, and you have no time to finish it or other tasks, Motion will reschedule.

Team collaboration features: You can track each team member’s plan and priorities using the team schedule feature. Whenever you add a project, you can assign tasks and communicate on the same page.

Meeting Assistant: Motion’s meeting scheduler helps you and others to book time with you. Motion uses booking links to simplify appointment scheduling. You can add buffer time and date range, or limit the number of days for the meetings. Once you finish the customization, you can just share the link, and they can access your booking page.

AI meeting note-taker: Motion records, transcribes, and summarizes your meetings—and then turns action items into tasks for your team.

Documents: It allows you to take notes and store them in a safe place. You can easily link tasks and projects inside these documents, so you do not have to jump between tools.

Integrations: Motion offers numerous integrations. You can connect it with Google Calendar, Outlook Calendar, iCloud Calendar, Siri, Zapier, and more. Utilizing the Zapier integration, you can access an additional 7,000 third-party apps. So, Motion is quite good in terms of integrations.

Mobile app: You can use Motion’s mobile apps on iOS and Android as well. Personally, I used the iOS version, and it worked pretty well for me. An additional plus for me is that their developer team frequently updates Motion.

Note-taking: Notion offers some sophisticated note-taking features, so you can add and organize different types of content called blocks. When writing your notes, you can add headings, subpages, bullet points, and tables without touching your mouse. In addition, you can insert images, bookmarks, videos, code, a kanban board, and more by simply hitting the “/” button on your keyboard. I especially love the embedded functions. Notion offers multiple embedded forms like YouTube videos, Google Docs, Google Maps, Miro, and more.

Project management: This AI tool helps you to visualize your projects’ workflows in different formats, from calendars to boards. You can also create charts or visualize dependencies to see when one task is blocking another and avoid bottlenecks. Moreover, you can apply filters to show only the tasks assigned to you or the urgent ones. When it comes to task management, Notion has excellent tools. You can break your projects into manageable tasks and add status, assignee, or due dates.

Templates: Notion currently has more than 30,000 free templates from which you can choose. Whenever I create a new page, I always use a template, as it can accelerate the process significantly.

Notion AI assistant: Notion’s AI writing assistant can greatly improve your writing by detecting errors and correcting misspelled words and incorrect grammar. But it can do much more. On the bottom left corner of Notion, you can access the AI assistant feature that answers your questions, gives you summaries, translates your page, finds action items, and helps you improve your writing. Basically, it works like a built-in ChatGPT.

Knowledge management: Notion is an excellent AI app to create a knowledge management center for you or your business. You can create pages for policies, FAQ’s, and more, so your team members can easily locate and understand the information they need to do their jobs.

AI meeting notes: It recently launched its AI note-taker feature for Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Google Meet calls. So, it joins your online meetings without a bot and transcribes & summarizes them.

Calendar: You can connect your Google Calendar with your existing Notion workspace, so you will be able to see your meetings and appointments in your Notion calendar. Notion’s calendar is synced with your workspace, so you can make references to specific pages in the meeting invite.

Integrations: Notion offers many third-party integrations. First of all, you can connect it with Zapier, which will give you access to more than 7000 apps. Besides the Zapier integration, you can integrate Notion with more than 100 other apps, including Asana, ClickUp, Dropbox, Google Drive, and Jira.

Mobile app: Notion has a quite good mobile app compared to other AI tools I tried. It is easy to use, and I did not experience any bugs.

Notebook guide: In short, the Notebook guide offers a platform where you can interact with your sources in different ways. On the left side of the screen, you will see the uploaded sources. If all of them are selected, NotebookLM will use all the uploaded information for your questions and interactions. In the middle, NotebookLM automatically creates a summary of the source. Also, you can use FAQs, study guides, table of contents, timelines, and briefing docs to help you understand the document faster.

Notebooks and notes: You use notebooks to organize your stuff in NotebookLM. They are similar to how folders organize the files on your computer. Each notebook is totally separate, so NotebookLM accesses information from one notebook at a time. You have to understand that the notebooks are not connected to each other, and they work like different folders, even if they are about the same topics.

Questions: You can ask questions from NotebookLM at the bottom of the page if you are browsing among your notes or using the Notebook Guide. NotebookLM will always show some recommended questions based on the data you provided. When answering questions, Notebook LM will use citations so you can see which source it uses to provide you with the answers. Seeing the citations ensures that you will always know the original source that NotebookLM uses to answer your questions.

Podcast feature: During my NotebookLM review, I experienced something special when I tried the podcast feature. You see, I tested and reviewed many AI tools in the past two years. I encountered several fascinating AI tools, as well as some that were disappointing. But when I heard the two AI hosts talking about the sources I uploaded, I felt like Google’s Gemini tool crossed a line. It was way more realistic than I could have imagined previously. Project management tools: Hive provides many view options to visualize and track your projects. Each view option gives you a different angle on your projects. You can access lists, KanBan boards, tables, Gantt charts, and more.

Task management tools: When creating tasks, you can assign them and add due dates, schedule time, dependencies, labels, and descriptions. Nevertheless, if you scroll down, you can access some additional task management features. With Hive, you can attach files and add comments, and it will automatically add the recorded time for each task.

App library: Hive offers some add-ons to further customize your experience and the tools you use daily. Personally, I think it is a positive thing that Hive has many add-ons that you can utilize. There are some add-ons that you can use in the free plan, but others require paid plans.

Dashboards: Utilizing the dashboards, you can bring the most important information from your workspace and projects into one place. These dashboards provide insights into your tasks and projects. It is great to customize them with widgets, filters, and external embeds. You can add bar charts, goals, notes, and more.

Team collaboration tools: You can invite your team members to your workspace and start working on projects. After that, you can add comments, track team members’ projects, and assign tasks. Furthermore, Hive has collaborative documents that you can edit with your team members. You can insert pictures, attachments, and tables here. The collaborative documents work across all platforms (web, desktop, and mobile). In addition, Hive has an instant messaging tool where you can discuss projects and tasks with your team members. With this feature, you can send direct and group messages as well.

Time tracking: Among the add-ons, you can find Hive’s time tracking and timesheet features as well. The time tracking is easy to use, and you can use filters. For example, you can just filter on the time spent on one specific project.

Inbox: After you integrate Hive with your email provider, you can access your emails inside Hive. You only need to click on the Mail tab on the left, and you can see all your emails.

Automation: Setting up automation is quite easy, and it is similar to other project management tools. You only need to select the criteria for when the automation should be triggered and the required action in such cases.

AI tools: First, Hive has an AI assistant called Buzz built into the software. It helps you to answer questions, create projects, automate workflows, and more. Besides just working as an AI chat, it can also create widgets and dashboards, so it is a valuable feature overall. Secondly, you can use Hive’s generative AI feature in the notes as well to create content faster. Besides generating text, you can also use it to generate an image. With such extensive AI features, Hive is the best AI-powered project management app.

Integrations: Hive offers some direct integrations with Google Workspace, Microsoft Teams, Dropbox, and more. However, you can connect Hive to over 7,000 third-party apps using its Zapier integration.

Mobile app: Hive provides a mobile version for iOS and Android devices.

Project management tools: Taskade is a lightweight project management software. That said, it does not have advanced project management tools like Hive. However, you can visualize your projects & workflows with a board, mindmap, table, organization, calendar views, and Gantt charts as well.

Task management features: Utilizing its task management feature, Taskade allows you and your team to manage multiple tasks effectively. With Taskade, you can easily add and assign tasks to your team members. With just a few clicks, you can create task lists and give due dates, tags, and notes to each task.

Note-taking tool: Taskade also offers note-taking features. Nevertheless, compared to note-taking apps like Notion, Obsidian, Anytype, or Xtiles, Taskade lacks advanced note-taking capabilities. Taskade uses a task-based approach, so everything you write in Taskade can be transformed into tasks, and you can connect them to your projects or automate them.

AI agents: Taskade’s real power lies in AI features. It’s AI agents are AI-powered assistants developed to automate tasks, streamline workflows, and improve productivity. You can tailor your AI agents to your specific needs by adding sources from which they can work and giving instructions. You can create AI agents for project management, content creation, data analysis, and so on. When creating your AI agent, you need to describe precisely the scope of activities it is responsible for. Taskade will pre-fill the instructions for many AI agents, and you can amend them if you want. Furthermore, you can interact with the uploaded files if you move the mouse cursor over the uploaded attachment and click the “ask AI” tab. It allows you to ask questions about the document, summarize it, etc. So, this feature ultimately helps you digest documents faster.

Team collaboration features: Taskade offers a shared space for teams to communicate, collaborate, and manage their projects. This app is full of collaboration features. You can easily share your workspaces and projects with your team members. After you share them with your team members, you can chat with them next to every project. It is a practical solution that the chat and the project you work on are on the same page.

Automation: Taskade’s automation allows you to streamline repetitive tasks by setting up triggers and actions. You can design custom workflows and integrate them with Google Sheets, Slack, or WordPress.

Integrations: You can integrate Taskade with Zapier, which allows you to connect it with more than 7000 third-party apps.

Mobile app: It has a mobile version for iOS and Android devices, which works quite well compared to other project management software in this list.

Grammar checker: Add your text or document, and Quillbot will check your content’s grammar. On the right side, you will see the recommendations and the score of your content.

Paraphrasing: Quillbot’s paraphraser tool can rewrite text in different styles & tones. You only need to copy the text or upload the document, and Quillbot will do the work.

AI content detector: It has a quite accurate AI content detector based on my experience. It categorizes the text into four categories: AI-generated, AI-generated & AI-refined, human-written & AI-refined, and human-written. Compared to other AI content detectors, Quillbot’s feature is outstanding, as most of these tools only show the percentage of the AI-generated content.

AI humanizer: Quillbot offers an AI humanizer to humanize your AI-generated content. It is valuable for those who work with a lot of AI content.

Plagiarism checker: With this feature, Quillbot assists you to quickly spot unoriginal content. You only need to copy the text you want to check, and Quillbot will quickly scan the internet and identify unoriginal content.

AI chat: Utilizing Quillbot’s AI assistant, you can chat, brainstorm ideas, review a resume, upload a file, and more. Essentially, it works like ChatGPT.

AI image generator: Quillbot has a free AI image generator. You only need to add your prompt, select a style, and an aspect ratio. Overall, the image generation is fast & simple. I am not saying that it is the best AI tool to generate images, but it did a decent job.

Sync multiple email accounts: You can connect Sanebox to many email accounts, including Gmail, Outlook, and Apple Mail. So, SaneBox will make not only your professional life more organized but also your personal life.

Filtering incoming messages: Sanebox uses AI to filter your incoming emails and moves the non-urgent emails into the SaneLater folder so you can focus on the important emails in your primary inbox. You can check this folder anytime you want, but Sanebox sends you an email summarizing these messages once a day or more often if you want.

Blocking unwanted emails: Sanebox is an excellent AI tool to maintain inbox zero and eliminate spam emails forever. Sanebox allows you to block any sender so their emails never appear in your inbox again.

News and updates: With this AI-powered email assistant, you can manage your subscriptions and newsletters and keep them organized in a separate folder. When you activate this feature, Sanebox will collect future messages from email subscriptions here, so you do not have to face the newsletter overload on a daily basis.

Email-based reminders: It lets you schedule reminders for emails that need attention. When creating a reminder, you have plenty of options to specify when Sanebox should send you the reminder.

Folder for unanswered emails: Another useful folder that I found when testing Sanebox is the SaneNoReplies. It helps me to stay on top of my tasks and emails. This folder collects all my unanswered emails to easily track which ones I should follow up on.

Free up storage space: The Deep Clean is an easy-to-use feature you can utilize to free up storage space and get rid of old emails. Instead of manually filtering and deleting old emails, SaneBox will do the heavy lifting for you. For me, it took around 15 minutes to delete almost ten thousand emails from my Gmail account. This feature scans your inbox and summarizes the non-important emails by size and count. After, you just need to select the emails you want to delete, and Sanebox will remove them from your inbox.

Summary of unimportant and unread emails: The Sanebox feature called Digest is a summary of unopened emails that were sorted out from your inbox. You can choose how frequently and when you want to receive the Digest prepared by Sanebox.

Eliminate distractions: The DoNotDisturb feature provides an excellent solution to focus on your tasks and not allow your emails to distract you from work. When activated, new emails will go to the SaneDoNotDisturb folder.

Email integration: Missive collects all the emails from your Gmail and Outlook into one centralized place to review and answer them.

AI-powered tools: This email app integrates ChatGPT and offers smart draft suggestions for your email replies based on your tone preferences. In addition, it summarizes your conversations, transforms your draft into a structured email, translates emails into multiple languages, and provides some AI-driven automations for your business processes related to email management.

Team inboxes: Utilizing this feature, you can avoid missing any important messages, and you can assign those messages to other teams. For example, suppose you work in a project management team and receive an email about the sales and marketing teams. In that case, you can quickly assign it to them, and the assignees will receive a notification and access to the conversation.

Chat: With Missive, you can streamline team communication by mentioning a coworker’s username and starting a direct chat within the email thread.

To-do lists: Missive has task management features that allow you to create and assign tasks to your team members, even directly from your emails.

Missive Calendar: You can integrate your Office 365 and Google Calendar accounts, so you can see your calendars inside this app.

Email analytics: This feature provides key metrics to measure and understand your team’s productivity and communication habits.

Rules: You can automate your team workflows with rules. The automation works like Outlook 365 rules and Gmail filters. So, when all or any of the rule conditions are met, the automated action will be triggered. However, you can establish quite complex automation with Missive.

AI tools: Use integrated AI prompts to accelerate the way you reply to emails.

Integrations: You can integrate Missive with numerous productivity apps like Asana, ClickUp, and Todoist. Also, it offers a Zapier integration, which allows you to connect Missive with +7,000 third-party apps.

AI scheduling assistant: Using artificial intelligence, Recliam AI auto-schedules tasks, habits, meetings & breaks in your workday, so you only need to focus on your tasks.

Calendar app: You can integrate more calendars, including Google & Outlook calendars, into one place. Reclaim AI has a drag-and-drop interface, and you can move your calendar events, add new tasks, and change the events’ parameters. So, you can make it shorter, add a new due date, select a color, and choose whether Reclaim should find a slot in your personal or work hours.

Task management: Reclaim AI offers some helpful task management features. You can add a task in a few steps, and schedule it manually or use Reclaim AI’s auto-schedule feature.

Habits: Habits work like any other event in your calendar, but use your preferences, rules, and priorities to determine how and when they should be scheduled. If the habits get overbooked by another event, Reclaim AI will automatically reschedule to ensure you still get time for the routine.

Scheduling links: You can share different scheduling links. For example, you can share a quick meeting scheduling link where the meeting duration is 15 or 30 minutes. If using this option, it will show the free timeslots in your calendar. Alternatively, you can share a high-priority scheduling link when you really want to make this meeting happen. In such cases, Reclaim AI will offer all medium and high priority tasks, habits, smart meetings, and non-Reclaim-created events as available times.

Smart meetings: This feature helps you automatically find the best time for your recurring meetings across everyone’s schedules so you don’t have to deal with scheduling conflicts. This is a great tool to handle team meetings, one-on-ones, or regular client meetings.

Image generation: The image generation with Google Imagen is fast. It takes around 15-30 seconds, and you will get the picture. As mentioned, I mostly used it for work, and it generated solid images for such purposes. The output was mostly accurate if my prompts were okay, and handled the details, textures, and complex scenes much better than most of the AI image generation tools.

Some other tools of Google Gemini: You can access Imagen through Google platforms like Gemini, Whisk, and Workspace apps. I used Gemini when testing Imagen, and it works similarly to ChatGPT. Inside Gemini, you can chat with it, ask it to do deep research, generate images, codes, and documents.

AI-powered captions and transcription: You can easily upload raw videos by dragging and dropping them. Submagic allows you to upload MP4 and MOV file formats with a max length of five minutes and a max size of 2 GB. Once it’s done, Submagic will prepare the AI-powered captions and transcriptions that you can customize (more details below).

Magic clips: When it comes to magic clips, you can insert links to YouTube videos or simply upload MP4 or MOV files. Essentially, this feature helps you to repurpose long content into short-form videos with captions and animations. You can choose from different clip durations and the language. For example, Submagic generated 19 clips from one video covering different parts of the content. This feature is perfect for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, TikTok, & other social media platforms.

Caption customization: By default, Submagic creates TikTok video captions in plain, white text without any styling. Nonetheless, you can choose from numerous caption styles. You can use other popular creators’ caption styles like Alex Hormozi, Devin, Iman, or Mr.Beast. I appreciated the flexibility when customizing the captions. That said, you can move the automatic captions and adjust their size and color. When testing Submagic, I experienced that it provides accurate captions. The only time I encountered issues was with brand names. It is great that you can add and change the emojis that Submagic uses for each scene. Therefore, you have the creative control to fine-tune the message you want to deliver to your audience.

Video editing: Submagic lets you trim videos by deleting the parts you do not need. It is quite straightforward, even if you have no experience in video editing at all. You can zoom in and out, so you can precisely remove unnecessary parts of your video. It is useful to select the parts in the transcripts that you do not want in your short videos. With just a few clicks, users can insert stock footage into the scenes they want. When you click on the scene, Submagic automatically detects what you speak about and serves the relevant results.

Background music: During your video editing process, you can apply background music and sound effects. When it comes to the background music, Submagic offers different categories from which you can choose depending on the atmosphere of your YouTube shorts.

Collaboration tools: Submagic also has some basic collaboration features if purchasing one of the higher-tier paid plans. You can create a workspace where you can share your projects, subscriptions, and templates with your team members so you can work together on these materials.
