Free Forever Plan

The Free plan covers 60MB storage, unlimited tasks, unlimited free plan members, two-factor authentication, and multiple project views.

With the free plan, you can also use basic automations, Docs, Whiteboards, and other collaboration features, though most of them come with usage limits.

Considering the features included, the Free plan works well for individuals or very small teams that want to organize tasks and projects without committing to a paid plan.

Unlimited Plan

Theย Unlimited planย covers all the features in the free version, plus you will access unlimited storage, integrations, folders and spaces, chat messages, and others. Essentially, the Unlimited plan has advanced features like goals & portfolios, email function, and resource management, but most importantly, you can utilize more view options.

This plan costs youย $7 monthly if choosing the yearly billing. However, if you choose the monthly billing, it is $10 per user per month.

The Unlimited plan is an excellent choice for small teams and professionals. If we compare it with other project management software’s pricing, I would say the Unlimited plan has fair pricing.

Business Plan

ClickUp’s Business plan is $12 per user if you opt for the yearly plan. Alternatively, if you choose the monthly billing, it is $19 per user.

The Business plan includes all the key features that mid-sized and small businesses need. You access advanced automations, workload and resource management, sprint reporting, dashboards, timesheets, and more detailed customization options across the workspace. Furthermore, it offers unlimited whiteboards, message history, and timeline views.

ClickUp designed its Business plan for mid-sized businesses.

Enterprise Plan

Lastly, ClickUp offers an Enterprise plan for large-sized businesses as well. Nevertheless, they apply customized pricing here, so you need to contact the sales team.

The Enterprise plan includes advanced security features, a dedicated customer success manager, live onboarding, and advanced permission levels.

ClickUp AI pricing

Itโ€™s also worth noting that ClickUpโ€™s AI features are offered as a separate add-on. ClickUp Brain, AI Notetaker, Super Agents, and other AI-powered workflows are not automatically included in the base plans.

In practice, this means you choose a plan first, and then add ClickUp AI if you want access to its AI features.

My Thoughts About ClickUp’s Plans

After testing and reviewing +15 project management software, I discovered that ClickUp’s pricing plans offer great value for their money. While it is one of the most affordable project management tools on the market, it offers advanced features, and it is ideal for all sizes of businesses.

Typically, the higher-tier pricing plans of other project management apps are above $20. So, accessing ClickUp’s Business plan for $12 is great.

ClickUp's AI tool (ClickUp Brain)

My only issue was that you have to pay an additional $9 if you want to use its AI tool (i.e., ClickUp Brain). I think it is a bit overpriced, especially if we consider the fact that not everyone might be on the team, just one or two, yet you will have to pay for the whole team.

My Experience With ClickUp

Overall, I had a pleasant experience during my ClickUp review. Although I found some glitches and encountered some performance issues, I think it is a great project management app.

It is great that they have a generous free plan, and you can access numerous features, even collaboration tools, for free.

At first, ClickUp might be overwhelming since it has many features. However, there is a lot of content and tutorials on the web, such as ClickUp University, that can help you master this productivity app quickly.
