What is Jibble?

Jibble is a time tracking software and employee productivity app designed for teams. It works on web, desktop, and mobile devices (both iOS and Android).
This time tracking app offers a wide variety of features, from attendance tracking to automated timesheets, making it an ideal solution for both remote and field teams.
Let’s take a closer look at its features!
Jibble key features
Here, I summarize the key features I tried throughout my Jibble review.
Homepage dashboard

After you sign in to your Jibble account, you will land on its homepage, which also serves as a dashboard. You can switch between daily, weekly, and monthly views to see tracked hours, holidays, and more.
Furthermore, you can also adjust the view to focus on your entire organization, your managed team, or your personal data. I loved that you can do it with one single click.
If you scroll down, you will find customization options to filter what you see on your homepage. That said, you can highlight projects, activities, and GPS tracking.
Time tracking software
Using Jibble, you can track time with its web app, mobile, Chrome extension, and desktop version. I mostly used the web app, but let me show you each method.

With the desktop app, you can easily track time spent on activities, projects, and clients from your desktop. It works on macOS and Windows devices as well.
The desktop version was designed for time tracking only, as it has only a widget to capture your time. Therefore, you can find all the features and data when using the web app.
Moreover, you can use Jibble’s Chrome extension to track work hours. You only need to start and stop the timer with the extension, and that’s it.
If it feels more convenient, you can utilize the mobile app for time tracking. This feature is especially useful for on-site workers, but I will discuss it later.

Finally, Jibble’s web app offers a time tracker to ensure you capture your billable hours. In fact, the web app works as a central hub.

To start tracking, you only need to select the activity and project, and you can add notes and reminders if you want. Click on save, and you are good to go.
Above, you can switch activities, start a break, or stop the timer with a single click. With the break-tracking feature, you can add different breaks, such as lunchtime, with a duration in minutes.
Overall, the time tracking feature is simple and accessible. I particularly loved that you can make your clock-ins on all the pages of the web app, and basically everywhere if you use the extension and desktop app.
Timesheet

The timesheet includes the time entries for the selected period. Similarly to the dashboard, you can filter by organization or by your team members.
If you missed starting your timer, you can add time entries manually. Just click the day, select the time for the clock-ins and clock-outs, and assign it to a project and activity.

Jibble allows you to set up approvals and process timesheets for payroll. This app tracks regular and overtime hours automatically for accurate payroll processing.
Ultimately, Jibble’s timesheet feature offers a simple way to see real-time data on work hours and employee attendance.
Live location tracking

Jibble’s GPS tracking feature allows employers to monitor employees’ locations in real-time, ensuring they are clocking in from approved locations. This way, your team members can capture their time spent on job sites easily.
Additionally, Jibble has an automated facial recognition feature to simplify attendance management. You can find this option under the time-tracking rules to prevent buddy punching. That said, if the faces don’t match, Jibble won’t clock the employee in.
To summarize, features such as facial recognition and live location tracking make Jibble a solid attendance management solution for small businesses.
Time off management

Jibble’s time-off management system helps ensure employees are well-rested without impacting workflow.
Under Time Off and Holidays, you can send and approve time-off requests. First, choose where you are working, and Jibble will pull the public holiday dates for that country. If you click on the “Add Holiday” tab, you can select the date range and add a name for your holiday.

In addition, Jibble lets you customize your holiday policy. Here, you can select the team members, whether there is compensation or not, accruals, number of holidays, and more.
This way, you can establish the holiday rules for each team member. With the combination of automatically collecting the public holidays and setting up holiday policies, Jibble can be an ideal solution for remote teams.
Reporting

Jibble also offers solid reporting tools. The tracked time reports cover the recorded time for activities, projects, and clients in the selected date range. If you scroll down, you will also find a breakdown of the work hours and the billable amount.
If you need more detailed information on an activity, location, or team member, you can easily filter on those as well.

Besides the tracked time report, you can ask for attendance insights reports to monitor your team members ‘ clock-ins. You only need to select the date range, period, and filters, and Jibble will prepare an Excel sheet about your team’s attendance.
Jibble’s reporting features are quite straightforward, and even non-tech-savvy employees can manage them easily.
Jibble user interface

Jibble has a simple and intuitive user interface. You can find all the core time tracking features on the left.
With Jibble, you can track time on all its pages; it is easy to add manual data entry to your timesheet, and you can pull out reports with a few clicks.
The learning curve is short compared to many other time tracking apps, and ultimately, it is an easy-to-use time tracking software.
Jibble integrations

Jibble offers numerous direct integrations with third-party apps like Asana, Xero, QuickBooks, Deel, Slack, Notion, and HubSpot. These integrations help make time tracking smoother across the apps you use in your daily work.
Furthermore, Jibble integrates with various payroll and accounting software, allowing for automated data synchronization and reducing manual entry errors.
Moreover, you can integrate Jibble with Zapier, which connects it to an additional +8,000 apps.
Jibble pricing plans
Here, I will break down Jibble’s pricing plans so you can more easily decide whether this is the right time-tracking software for you.

Free plan
Jibble offers a free version that includes essential time tracking features for unlimited users, making it suitable for small businesses.
That said, the Free plan is quite generous. It covers unlimited time tracking for unlimited users, which is more than outstanding, as most of the time tracking apps’ free plan is limited to a number of users.
With the Free plan, you will access the automated timesheets, custom breaks, overtime rules, biometric verification, basic time tracking policies, and more.
After testing 10+ time tracking apps, I found Jibble’s Free plan to be the best. It is packed with valuable tools and includes some more advanced features as well. And don’t forget that unlimited users can utilize it. So, for me, the free version is 5/5.
Premium plan
Jibble’s Premium plan is $3.49 per user per month annually. It has some advanced features for small or even large teams.
That said, with the Premium plan, you will access group management features, unlimited geofences, work schedules, custom time tracking policies, and multi-level approvals.
This Premium plan is definitely among the more affordable ones on the time tracking app market.
Ultimate plan
If you need more advanced features like live location tracking, attendance insights, priority customer support, and custom individual permissions, the Ultimate plan could be excellent for you.
You can get the Ultimate plan for $6.99 per user per month with annual billing. The Ultimate plan subscribers get full access to all the features.
Given the features included in this plan, it is an ideal solution for mid-sized and large businesses that need advanced GPS tracking.
Enterprise plan
The Enterprise plan is $8.99 per user per month, billed annually. This plan includes advanced security features, dedicated support, and tailored solutions for teams of over 500 users.
The Enterprise plan is designed for large companies and offers personalized solutions tailored to specific business needs.
My experience with Jibble

After testing 10+ time tracking apps, here is a short summary of my experience with Jibble: It is the best time tracking app that you can get at this price. Plus, it has a great free version.
Let’s elaborate on it a bit more!
I had a great time testing and using Jibble in my business. During my Jibble review, I discovered that it is a user-friendly time tracking solution ideal for teams.
It has advanced features for managing attendance, such as facial recognition, that ensure accurate time tracking across the organization without buddy punching. The fact that you can use it on web, desktop, and mobile apps as well makes Jibble a versatile and accessible time tracking solution.
As for the pricing plans, I think people can overlook how generous Jibble’s Free plan is. Some features, such as automated timesheets, unlimited integrations for users, and overtime rules, are free forever without paying a penny, while most of these are normally included in paid plans.
Jibble offers more than just a reasonable price for the value it provides. All the paid plans are way below the average prices of the time tracking apps, which still offer the same or even more value.
On the other hand, I would love to see Jibble offer more team collaboration tools or client management features. I understand that these were not the focus points of this time tracking app, but they would help a lot for businesses like mine, where we have remote teams.
