So, I tried GoalsWon to see how it affects my productivity and my personal development in specific areas of my work life. However, this GoalsWon review article will be different from other review content.
I will not only share this accountability app’s features, pricing, pros, and cons, but also guide you through my own journey using GoalsWon. By sharing these insights, I hope I can provide you with a clear picture of GoalsWon, and you can easily decide whether this app is for you.
Let’s dive in!
What is GoalsWon?

GoalsWon is an accountability app that offers personalized human coaching to help you stay on track, overcome procrastination, and ultimately achieve your goals. It combines expert coaching with a simple task management platform, allowing you to access personalized support and accountability while effectively managing your tasksโall in one app.
It is important to note that GoalsWon’s coaches are real people, and whenever you do your daily check-ins, you are chatting with a real human coach. Your personal coach gives you tailored feedback and tactics to reach your personal goals and keep you accountable.
Let’s take a closer look at the features I tried during my GoalsWon review!
Key features of GoalsWon
Here, I will not only show GoalsWon’s features, but also provide you with some sneak peeks from my personal experience on how they helped (or did not help) to stay on track.
Chat with a human coach

After you sign in to your account, you can access the chat with your GoalsWon coach on the right side. Besides a short introduction, you will see a short onboarding presentation video about your coach, so you will have a chance to know more about the person you will work with.

Nevertheless, going forward, you will have more opportunities to get to know your coach. GoalsWon has a feature called Coach’s Status, where coaches share snapshots from their real lives. These actual pics add a nice human touch to the whole experience.

The chat is crucial because every interaction will be placed there besides the calls. This is where you can do your daily check-ins with your GoalsWon coach, and share what happened throughout your week.

I really loved that my coach, Ellen, sent me progress graphs regularly, so we could monitor my overall progression toward my goals.

The GoalsWon app allows you to react to messages, edit, copy, reply, or delete them. Also, you can make them starred so that you can check any time with one click.
It makes sense to save those practical tips and messages here that will probably come up in the future, or you think it is worth revisiting later. You can access these messages if you click on the star icon in the top-right corner.
Daily goals and tasks

Coaching happens every day of the week through daily accountability checks. You need to submit your results daily, and write a few sentences about your progression, obstacles, small wins, and ultimately how you felt.
Your coach will review your goals and the submitted results daily and provide you with tailored feedback and support to keep you on track.

So, essentially, accountability coaching helps you not only in planning but also in execution. Be honest, when you are alone, it is much easier to skip daily habits, activities, and tasks that contribute to your personal growth and development.
This can make it very challenging to build momentum and adopt new habits. Nevertheless, with daily human coaching, it is much easier to resist negative habits, minimize digital distractions, and focus on your goals.
Personally, I felt like submitting my day and clearly understanding how I progressed each day toward my goals can give me an extra push.
When setting your goals, try to be as specific and time-bound as possible, as they are crucial for accountability and tracking progress effectively with your coach.
Task management app

The GoalsWon app also works as a task management tool to track your daily tasks and long-term targets. If you click on the Undated tab on the left, you can add additional tasks that you need to deal with in the future, but do not have a date.

Overall, it is a useful feature to keep track of your less important or urgent tasks without squeezing them into your daily goals.

If you click on your goal, you can add a description about it, add a date, or change its color. It is a helpful tool for more complex or detailed tasks.
During my Goalswon review and testing, I discovered that while it does not have advanced task management features, it offers a simple solution to manage your to-do list inside the app.
At the next step of this GoalsWon review, let’s see how you can interact with your dedicated coach in addition to the chat.
Onboarding and monthly calls
After you sign up for GoalsWon, you have a chance to schedule a quick onboarding call with your professional coach.

This is when you can discuss your expectations and goals for the upcoming period, and this is the starting point of your future collaboration. It was also great that I could discuss my preferred coaching style with Ellen, and she adapted to this.
The onboarding call gives you a chance to set goals, identify your monthly targets, or share what new good habits you want to implement into your day-to-day life.
After your onboarding call, you will have calls with your GoalsWon coach on a monthly basis, where you can discuss your progress and new targets.
Let’s take a closer look at the targets!
Targets

While the goals are daily accountability measures, the targets are longer-term objectives, typically spanning a month. Such longer-term targets can be a new habit, activity, work goal, and more.
For me, the targets give the structure of my month and help to identify important tasks that I need to incorporate into my daily routine to achieve my long-term goals.
During my GoalsWon review, I discovered that you can submit your report about your progression, like the daily goals. However, you only need to submit it monthly.
Milestones

The milestones are special achievements awarded by your GoalsWon coach on your journey of personal progress. It is a cool feature that can give you a small boost or daily encouragement to keep doing what you’re doing.
Mobile version

GoalsWon offers a mobile version for iOS and Android devices. I tried the iOS version, and it worked great for me.
It was a huge plus for me, as I could reach my daily goals without turning on the PC on the weekend.
Holiday mode
With this feature, users can pause all their goals, or just some of them. The holiday mode was designed for times like vacations, where work goals can be paused, but personal goals (like meditation or journaling) can stay active.
During the holiday mode, coaches can pause communication or adjust their approach based on the client’s preferences, making the break feel truly supportive and flexible.
Let’s check GoalsWon’s pricing!
GoalsWon’s pricing
GoalsWon has a 7-day free trial, so you can check how it affects your productivity and personal development. After your trial ends, you can change to the monthly plan, which is $90 per month.
If you choose the annual plan, it is $60 monthly, and you can access the 14-day free trial.
Based on the information I found, coaches charge between $100 and $400 per hour on average. So, GoalsWon’s pricing seems reasonable to me, as it includes daily human coaching and monthly sessions.
In addition, you will access the GoalsWon app itself for this price, which provides a platform to manage your tasks, goals, and targets besides the daily human coaching.
My experience with GoalsWon
While I am not a guy who copes with procrastination or frequently loses focus, I believe GoalsWon helped me to become even more accountable and keep my work-life balance.
Sometimes, like many of you, I feel myself quite alone in my business, and it feels like an uphill battle. I surrounded myself with tools & software to become even more efficient, but sometimes I just miss the human connection in this area of my life.
Having a real person who gives me personalized support, or just saying a few kind words, makes a big difference. Personally, I was very satisfied with Ellen’s work, and she was very supportive during our work.
Nevertheless, if you end up in a situation where you do not resonate with your coach, you can request a change of coach with one click.
Overall, I had a fantastic experience with GoalsWon, and I can recommend it to those who need accountability coaching at an affordable price.

Secondly, I enjoyed using the GoalsWon app. It is a simple platform for talking daily with your accountability coach and tracking your goals.
In addition, it’s convenient that you can switch coaches if things aren’t quite clicking. It was not the case for me, but it is good to know that you have this option.

I particularly appreciated the question on my preferred coaching style, as currently I did not need the discipline, but rather a supportive approach. So, thanks from here, Ellen!
