In contrast to most of the PDF editors, Sejda PDF editor allows you to select sentences for editing instead of text boxes or sections. You can choose from numerous font types, sizes, and colors to edit existing text in your PDF documents.

If you click on the move button, you can move the selected sentences. However, I had a hard time moving text boxes, since I could only select sentences. For me, it made the text editing burdensome.

In addition to editing existing text, you can add new text boxes with Sejda PDF Editor. Just click on the “Text” option above, and click on any space on the page to add a new text box.

Furthermore, you can edit and add images. It’s straightforward to insert images and stamps or delete existing images. Fortunately, the way you manage the images is way easier than text. That said, you can easily move them around, make them smaller, larger, and more.

To summarize my experience during my Sejda PDF Editor review, the text editing was burdensome due to the fact that I could only move the text sentence by sentence. Nonetheless, adding and editing images was surprisingly smooth.

Sejda PDF Editor offers basic PDF tools to create forms. When adding form fields, you can insert text fields (single or multi-line), radio buttons, checkboxes, dropdown lists, and signature boxes. And of course, you can use Sejda PDF Editor to fill out forms.

Furthermore, you can sign PDF documents with Sejda PDF Editor. Just a quick heads-up for this: it’s not legally binding signatures.

When creating your signature, you can type and draw it or insert it as an image. It’s a nice touch that you can also take a picture with Sejda PDF Editor to use your handwritten signature.

If you choose to type your signature, Sejda PDF Editor provides some pre-made versions, and you can select the color as well.

When converting PDFs to Word files, I noticed that it does not convert the images from your PDF document, only the text, and the structure is sometimes a bit messed up. Furthermore, you can merge and crop PDF documents as well after the conversion.

Compressing tools

With Sejda PDF Editor, you can reduce the size of your PDF documents. To compress files, you only need to hit the “Compress” next to the “All Tools” tab.

I appreciated the many options here, as Sejda PDF Editor lets you choose the image quality, resolution, conversion, multimedia files, and fonts.
