PDNob is an AI-powered PDF editor that offers many features to edit, read, organize, and annotate your documents. PDNob is one of Tenorshare’s products, which is a global software company founded in 2007 in the US.

You can use PDNob on Windows and Mac right after you download it.

My experience with Tenorshare PDNob after using it for 2 years

After I tested PDNob, it became my default PDF editor, so needless to say, it performed well during testing. But let’s break it down.

PDNob PDF editor offers a wide range of PDF editing and annotation tools. With its easy-to-use tools and user-friendly interface, I had almost zero learning curve with this PDF editor.

It has one of the most accurate OCR engines, and its advanced PDF reading capabilities make it easy to read long PDF documents.

During my Tenorshare PDNob review, I especially loved the AI features. Based on my experience testing numerous PDF editors on the market, I think PDNob’s AI features are among the fastest.

Besides that, I received relevant and accurate answers to my questions. So, it helped me a lot to extract insights from my PDF files and save time.

Here, I will break down the PDNob PDF editor’s features I tried during my review. 

PDF editor

PDNob allows you to edit your PDF documents smoothly. When editing your PDFs, PDNob uses a drag-and-drop system.

With this PDF editor, you can make changes in the text, pictures, and more. To access this feature, just go to the “Edit All” tab, and you are ready to go.

When selecting a text box, you can move it around, change the font type, adjust the alignment, and more. Also, you can add new text boxes to your PDF documents and access the same level of customization options.

PDF editing is similar to when you are working on a Word document. Adjusting the font, size, color, etc, is very intuitive.

Besides adding text, you can also insert pictures in your PDF files. When inserting a picture, it also follows a drag-and-drop system. So, after you insert the images into your PDF files, you only need to click on them to move around the pages.

With the PDNob PDF editor, you can also add, modify, or remove watermarks and backgrounds or change their properties to fit your needs.

Overall, I was satisfied with the PDF editing features during my PDNob review. It has easy-to-use PDF editor tools, and most importantly, you can make such changes in no time. These features were designed for personal and professional users, and small businesses, rather than enterprise users like PDF-XChange.

PDF convert

Using PDNob, you can convert PDFs into Excel, PowerPoint, images, Word documents, and more. To access this feature, just click on the “Convert” tab, and you can see here the conversion options. Select the format you want to get, and you are good to go.

The conversion takes 10-15 seconds, and you can work on the document in the desired format. Ultimately, it is a pretty straightforward tool and worked great for me during the PDNob review.

No wonder that it made it to my list of best PDF converters.

OCR

PDNob offers an optical character recognition feature as well to edit and convert scanned PDFs. You can find the OCR feature on the top sidebar.

Once you loaded your document into the PDNob PDF editor, click on the “Settings” button to enable OCR. This way, PDNob will surely recognize and extract the text from the scanned PDF. Also, select the language of the document to improve the accuracy of OCR.

Overall, the OCR was quite accurate, and I was satisfied with this feature when testing.

Annotate PDF documents

I know annotating PDF files is important for many of you, especially if you work with a team or clients. Solid annotation tools help to review PDF documents faster and more efficiently. So, I checked these features as well during my PDNob review!

Using this PDF editor, you can easily add annotations, for example, comments, text highlights, and more. Similarly to the editing features, annotating PDFs is very simple with PdNob.

On the top right corner, you can access the share functions, which allows you to send the edited PDF document quickly to others.

If you select the Page tab on the top tools, you can access PDNob’s tools to organize your PDF pages. You can select the pages’ order, insert a new one, rotate, split, and replace them if you want.

PDF compress

PDF compressing is another feature I love to see when testing PDF editors. You probably also faced the situation when you failed to send the attachment via email due to the size of the file.

Fortunately, you can compress your PDF files with the PDNob PDF editor. If selecting the high quality, you can essentially reduce the size without losing the files’ quality.

During my PDNob review, I experienced that the PDF compression tool was quite fast. It is also very accessible, as you can find this feature under your home tab.

PDF protection

PDF protection is a critical aspect you need to consider, particularly for business users. Many PDF files include your and even your client’s sensitive information.

If you click on “Protect,” you can easily add password protection to your PDF files and restrict access. When restricting access to PDF documents, PDNob provides numerous options. For instance, you can only allow others to print but do not allow editing.

This way, you can fully customize who can access the PDF files.

AI-powered tools

One of the best features of the PDNob PDF editor is the AI-powered tools. You can ask the AI assistant to summarize your PDF document in seconds. It is a useful tool to quickly understand the document.

Moreover, you can chat with your PDFs and get instant answers about your PDF documents. During my PDNob review, I regularly used this AI feature and provided relevant and accurate answers to my questions.

Lastly, you can ask AI to translate, rewrite, or explain the PDF for you. The rewriting AI feature is particularly useful when editing your PDF, as you can rephrase text quickly without switching between the windows.

PDNob PDF editor offers a one-week free trial. You can access 50 AI Credits, 2 GB cloud storage, and the ability to upload 120 pages per file, and the size has to be below 15MB. You can edit and organize your PDF documents with the free trial, but it will include the watermarks.

Essentially, the free trial is ideal for trying the PDNob PDF editor’s features and deciding if it fits your needs.

One Month License

The monthly plan’s regular price is $49.99. However, PDFNob is running a campaign, so you can get it for $14.99. It covers 100 AI credits/month, one month of free updates, 20 GB of cloud storage, and no watermarks.

One Year License

The one-year license’s original price is $79.99, but you can get it for $35.99 now. Essentially, it has the same features as the PDNob PDF editor offers in the monthly plan.
